There are a variety of blind cleaning methods.  They vary from hand cleaning or washing of blinds or shades to the use of ultrasonic cleaning tanks.   While the better technology does have distinct advantages over hand methods the product knowledge of the blind cleaner is critical to success as they need to know what cleaning chemistry, washing, drying and handling procedures work safely for each particular type of blind or shade being done.  For instance, all honeycomb shades were not created water friendly!
